A Complete Eye care Solution

Staring at a computer/TV/ mobile screen /TV/ mobile screen for hours on end has become a part of the modern workday. And inevitably, all of that staring can put a real strain on your eyes. Looking at a computer/TV/ mobile screen requires that the eyes continuously focus, move back and forth, and align with what you are seeing. You may have to look down at papers and then back up to type, and the eyes have to accommodate to changing images on the screen in order to create a clear picture for the brain to interpret. All of these functions require a lot of effort from eye muscles. The name for eye problems caused by computer/TV/ mobile screen use is computer vision syndrome (CVS).

You are probably having computer vision syndrome if you have some or all of these symptoms: Blurred, Double Vision, Dry, Red Eyes, Eye irritation, Headaches, Neck or Back.

Special triphala + Muscle tone is the perfect treatment for CVS and common eye problems.

Ayurveda explains that Pitta dosha, the element of fire and light, governs our eyes. Specifically, the sub-dosha “Alochaka Pitta” lives in the eyes. Alochaka pitta absorbs images and colors, allowing us to take in and digest all of the visual impressions coming to us. When Alochaka pitta is in balance, eyes are healthy, bright, clear, shiny, luminous, and we enjoy sharp eyesight. The excessive strain on the optical organs coupled with a stressful and sedentary lifestyle give rise to an imbalance of alochaka pitta causing eye problems like computer vision syndrome.

Ayurveda says that triphala i.e a combination of the herbs haritaki + bibhitaka + Amalaki in the right proportion balances the alochaka pitta and thus corrects the root cause of all vision related problems.

Muscle tone contains ingredients like Ashwagandha, Shataviari and widarikanda which provide strength to all the muscular tissues of the body and specifically the optical muscles.

Thus, this combination works synergistically to correct the root cause while increasing the overall strength of the optical organs.

What is muscle and why it should be strong?
Muscles are a band or bundle of fibrous tissue in body which has the ability to contract and relax. It  produces force and motion. They are primarily responsible for maintaining and changing posture, locomotion, as well as movement of internal organs, such as the contraction of the heart and the movement of food through the digestive system via peristalsis.

Most people think muscles only as biceps, triceps, shoulder, calf, chest, abs etc. But there are also other muscles like smooth muscles in stomach, heart or eyes. These muscles also undergo stresses and aging and thus need strength.

With changing life style, changing dietary habits and aging the muscle loses strength or capacity to contract and expand. This causes pain or weakness. In case of cardiac muscle this weakness can be fatal. So to strengthen the muscle for proper body functioning muscle toning and maintaining is required.

What is muscle toning?
Muscle toning is training the muscle and muscle movement to keep moving parts intact and functionally working and also providing the muscle with essential nutrition in the form of protein, vitamins and minerals.

What are foods/ supplements to promote muscle building?

We can say that there are two supplements.

  1. Artificial
  2. Natural

ARTIFICIAL means using protein supplement.

Proteins can help promote a healthy weight and can help muscles recover after a good workout. But what exactly is protein? Protein is a macronutrient found in many foods such as meats, dairy products, nuts, and beans, to name a few. It’s comprised of amino acids, the building blocks of lean body tissue that promote healthy skin, hair, bones, fingernails, as well as   muscles. Protein supplements can make it easier to get those amino but getting the bulk of our protein from whole food sources is the best one.

SEffect of intake of different dietary protein sources on plasma amino Acid profiles at rest and after exercise. Burke LM, Winter JA, Cameron-Smith D, et al. Australian Institute of Sport, Belconnen, Australia Capital Territory, Australia. International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, 2012 Dec;22(6):upplements in which protein is derived from various food sources and is “concentrated” by removing the non-protein parts like Protein powders, shakes, protein bars, amino-acid packets, and even muscle-building oatmeal with 30 grams of protein.

But do they really work and are they safe? This needs to be investigated thoroughly. Some proteins are indigestible for some and affect the vital organs like kidneys. Some proteins are genetically modified to produce greater crop yield.  Low cost proteins often use inexpensive protein blends that may not be very digestible by the body.
